Use 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Polishing Pad in conjunction with our 3M™ Perfect-It™ Finishing System of polishes and compounds. The pad helps to remove the compounding swirl marks left by either foam or wool pads when the finest finish is required. Finish results are dependent on the combination of coating type, polish, and tools used. Our foam pads were developed to address the unique chemical composition of evolving paint and clear coat technologies. Foam pads are generally less aggressive and produce a finer finish than wool pads. They operate between 1200 and 2000 rpms to remove fine scratches, compound swirl marks, and surface marring. Foam buffing pads are used in conjunction with machine polishes. Doubled-sided pads work with 3M™ Quick Connect Adaptors on rotary polishers; single-side pads work with the Hookit™ system for easy change-outs Developed to keep pace with evolving paint and clear coat technologies, the 3M™ Perfect-It™ Paint Finishing System is ideal for when the finest finish is required for every level of clear coat and paint repair.
